PORTALBERITA.CO.ID - PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TVSMCI) has recently finalized the introduction of the newest variant of its Callisto 110 automatic scooter into the domestic automotive landscape. This strategic market move serves as the catalyst for a significant internal policy adjustment concerning older inventory.

As a direct consequence of the new model's debut, the company has formally ceased the distribution channels for its predecessor model. This action signals a clear strategic pivot toward the refreshed product line.

The confirmation regarding the discontinuation was provided by Ryan Rahadian, who holds the position of Product Marketing Lead at PT TVSMCI. He outlined the immediate effect this launch has on existing dealer stock and consumer redirection.

According to Ryan Rahadian, dealers nationwide have been explicitly instructed to guide all prospective buyers exclusively towards the most current iteration of the Callisto 110 scooter. This ensures a streamlined market focus for the brand moving forward.

The announcement was made when Ryan Rahadian was approached for comment in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, July 2nd. This timing links the product retirement directly to the new model's official rollout phase.

He emphasized the finality of the previous model’s status in the current lineup. "For the old version of the Callisto 110, it has indeed been discontinued. So, it is no longer available; all existing unit stock has been replaced," said Ryan Rahadian.

This decisive action confirms that the previous Callisto 110 units are being systematically cleared from the active sales pipeline. The company is ensuring a clean transition to the technologically updated successor.

As reported by Ryan Rahadian, the complete cessation of distribution means that any remaining older models are effectively the final units available on the market before they are fully phased out. The focus is now solely on maximizing sales of the new generation.

TVSMCI's decision reflects a standard industry practice of retiring older models immediately upon the introduction of a superior, updated generation to maintain brand consistency and technological relevance. This ensures consumers receive the latest offerings available.
