The comments were reportedly made by the former president while he was attending a G7 meeting taking place in France. This high-profile setting amplified the impact of his remarks on international diplomatic circles.
As reported by Dailycaller, Trump articulated his dissatisfaction directly to reporters gathered at the event. He stated, "I’m not happy with the way Israel has handled themselves with Lebanon and with Hezbollah," emphasizing his concern over the duration of the fighting.
Trump further elaborated on his strategic objections, suggesting the operations were taking too long to conclude effectively. He remarked, "They should have been able to do the job faster. It just goes on forever, and when that happens, it throws a negative light on the big deal, and that’s the deal with Iran," linking the conflict's management to broader regional diplomacy.
