PORTALBERITA.CO.ID - The Mercedes-Benz W212 Club Indonesia (MBW212CI), the dedicated community for the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, recently commemorated a significant milestone: its first decade of existence. This major anniversary celebration was hosted at the Avenue of The Star, located within Lippo Mall Kemang.

The event marked the culmination of the community's journey since its official founding back in 2016. The gathering served as a moment of reflection on the past ten years of shared automotive passion among members.

The core theme chosen for this significant anniversary was "1 Decade: Above & Beyond," reflecting aspirations for continued growth and excellence. The primary objectives of the celebration included solidifying the bonds of brotherhood among members and fostering greater collaborative efforts.

Furthermore, the club aims to actively increase its positive contributions toward the wider community through organized activities. As reported by the organizers, MBW212CI has successfully matured into a robust and highly active automotive organization.

Currently, the club boasts a solid membership base nearing 200 individuals spread across several major Indonesian cities, including Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya. This wide geographic reach underscores the community's national presence and influence.

Regarding entry criteria, the MBW212CI places significant emphasis on the emotional connection and personal character of prospective members, rather than merely focusing on the quantity of vehicles owned. This selective approach ensures a high degree of cohesion within the group.

Afiansyah Harahap, the President of MBW212CI, highlighted the underlying philosophy guiding the club's expansion efforts. "The philosophy of the club is to build a family, not just to increase the number of members," said Afiansyah Harahap.

Looking ahead, the leadership is already planning ambitious future activities to engage the membership. A notable upcoming initiative involves organizing a comprehensive touring expedition to the renowned Mandalika region.

According to Afiansyah Harahap, this focus on shared experiences, such as the planned Mandalika tour, is crucial for maintaining the club's strong internal dynamics. These events provide practical opportunities for members to interact beyond regular monthly meetings.
