PORTALBERITA.CO.ID - Foundation Healthcare Holdings, a prominent healthcare entity based in Singapore, is reportedly preparing to submit its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus in the coming days. This significant move signals the company's intention to enter the public equity markets soon.

The organization, which currently counts SeaTown Holdings as a key financial backer, anticipates welcoming investor orders for a potential listing scheduled for the third quarter of the year. This timeline suggests an imminent offering designed to capitalize on current market conditions.

As reported by Businesstimes, the central goal of this public offering is ambitious: the company seeks to secure as much as S$500 million in fresh capital. This fundraising target could potentially translate to a valuation exceeding US$1 billion for the firm upon debut.

These ongoing deliberations concerning the specifics of the listing are fluid, meaning that precise details pertaining to the offering structure might undergo adjustments before the final filing. The company remains in active discussions regarding the structuring of the IPO.

Representatives associated with both Foundation Healthcare and its investor, SeaTown, have officially declined to provide any commentary regarding the impending public listing plans. This standard practice is typical during pre-IPO periods.

It is important to recall that Singapore-based SeaTown previously demonstrated strong confidence in the healthcare provider by injecting S$150 million into Foundation Healthcare back in 2023. This earlier investment underpins the current IPO ambitions.

The Singaporean IPO market is currently experiencing a noticeable resurgence in activity throughout this year. Data compiled by Bloomberg indicates that five initial public offerings have collectively raised approximately US$912 million thus far.

However, the bulk of this total fundraising volume recorded year-to-date is largely attributable to the debut of UI Boustead Reit, which accounted for the vast majority of capital raised. This context frames Foundation Healthcare’s potential listing against recent market milestones.
